Syndopa CR

Syndopa CR is a combination medicine used for the treatment of signs and symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. The active ingredients in Syndopa CR are Levodopa and Carbidopa.

Levodopa is a premium drug that supplies dopamine in the brain and cures the symptoms of PD. Carbidopa is administered in order to have better availability of levodopa in the brain which enhances its therapeutic effect. This combination of two potent drugs effectively cures the undesirable signs and symptoms of PD: stiffness of muscles, spasms, tremors, shaking of legs, losing control over body movements.

Syndopa CR cures the signs and symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. This drug has effectively controlled and treats the signs and symptoms.

You should not take Syndopa CR if you: are allergic to Syndopa CR, have kidney problems, have liver disease, have lungs problem, have glaucoma or suffering from ocular hypertension, have severe muscle problem, have mood or mental problems, are pregnant or planning to become a pregnant, are breastfeeding a child.

The dosage is solely decided by the Doctor after assessing your condition and various factors such as age, gender and body weight. One can’t fix the dose as it varies from patient to patient. The usual recommended dose intake of Parkinson’s disease is Syndopa CR is 100 mg/25 mg orally three times a day. Always take the dose as prescribed by the Doctor. 
  
Swallow the tablet with a full glass of water. Don’t crush or chew the tablet. Syndopa CR can be taken with or without food once a day. The dose intake depends upon your condition. Always take the medicine as per the prescription. 

If overdose, immediately consult with your concerned doctor. Take medical help as soon as possible if you encounter any undesirable sign and symptoms.

Every medicine shows some side effects, same way Syndopa CR also has some undesired effects with it. Syndopa CR shows common and serious side effects such as: constipation, confusion, drowsiness, dry mouth, trouble sleeping, headache, los of appetite, nausea, stomach disturbances.

Some serious and rare side effects that need serious consideration are stated below: chest pain, confusion, decreased sexual ability, mental or mood changes, severe lightheadedness

Always inform your doctor about the drugs you are taking till date. Give a complete list of prescription or non prescription drugs and any other disease conditions.

Syndopa CR is contraindicated in pregnancy and breast feeding. Syndopa CR can cause dizziness so avoid driving or involving in any kind of motor activity. Before going for dental surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking Syndopa CR.
