Nemocid (Pyrantel) is an "antihelmintic" or anti-worm, medication. Nemocid prevents worms from growing or multiplying in your body. Nemocid is used to treat infections caused by worms such as pinworm and roundworm.
Nemocid comes as a capsule and liquid to take by mouth, with food, juice or milk or on an empty stomach.
Side effects: headache, dizziness, nausea, hair loss, vomiting, abnormal liver function tests, fever, abdominal pain, vertigo.
