Cipmox is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections, such as tonsillitis, pneumonia, and ear infections. Gram positive as well as Gram negative infections can be cured by the Cipmox. It is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections, such as bronchitis, tonsillitis, pneumonia, infections of the intestines such as salmonella (food poisoning), urinary tract infections, sinus infections, and gonorrhea. Cipmox in combination with some other medications is used to treat intestinal ulcers.
Amoxicillin belongs to a class of antibiotic medicines called penicillin. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, genital and urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, ear; nose, sinus, and throat, heart, kidney, urethra or bladder.
Cipmox prescription dosage is 250 mg three times in a day for the adults. Cipmox prescription dosage is 100 mg to 150 mg three times in a day for the pediatric patients. Depending upon the stage of the bacterial infection in adults, dosage can be increased to 500 mg thrice in a day. Dosage of Cipmox should be taken always with a full glass of water. It should be taken on an empty stomach, 1 hour before the lunch or 2 to 3 hours after the lunch.
Common side effectts of taking Cipmox regularly are as below: nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, urticaria, skin rashes and serum sickness, rise in SGOT, nemia, thrombocytopenic purpura, eosinophilia, leukopenia and agranulocytosis.
Contact your doctor immediately you notice any signs of allergic reactions which include difficulties in breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling due to retention of fluid, hives, and skin rashes.
